Lindsay Crochet Schneider is our newest therapist at Sassafras Therapy + Wellness Center. She received her Master's degree in Occupational Therapy in 2011 from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, after first obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from Louisiana State University in 2006. Lindsay has trained extensively in pediatric level one and two fieldworks in both the school system and outpatient pediatrics. Since the start of her career in OT, almost 7 years ago, she has worked in multiple settings, but has most enjoyed her time spent in a sensory integration outpatient clinic. Along the way she volunteered at a hippotherapy ranch in Florida and is currently working towards obtaining certification in pediatric Aquatic and Yoga Therapy. Lindsay is passionate about maximizing a child’s independence while combining traditional OT methods with mind/body wellness techniques. Lindsay is licensed and registered with the LSBME and NBCOT. She resides in Madisonville with her husband, Chris, and son, Brayden. We are thrilled that she is pursuing her personal and professional goals of positively impacting children’s lives here at Sassafras Therapy and Wellness Center.
